Hello, my name is Mkwawa and I am a philosopher who concluded that the meaning of life was to maintain our bodies and the environment so that we can obtain emotional experience and rational knowledge.
I then went on to design a society which will help all of us maintain our bodies and environment and also obtain emotional experience and rational knowledge.
After more than 10 years, I was finally able to create the meritocratic society. Let us now look at the meritocratic society and how it will help all its residents obtain basic needs to maintain their bodies, obtain emotional experience, influence government to maintain their environment and have a value system that promotes and rewards people when they obtain rational knowledge:
Meritocratic apartments
The solution that I came up with for a new system that would allow all of us to obtain basic needs to maintain our bodies was called meritocratic apartments.
Meritocratic apartments consist of self cleaning houses connected to a food hub that handles all chores involved with food and a clothes hub that handles all chores involved with clothes.
When people in meritocratic apartments need food or clothes they order from the food or clothes hub through an app and the food or clothes are be brought to them through pods that pass through small tunnels.
Once they finish eating or wearing the food or clothes respectively, they return the dirty dishes or clothes to the food or clothes hub in pods that pass through the small tunnels and the dirty dishes or clothes are cleaned and stored.
Since the houses don’t need any appliances or infrastructure for food or clothes such as kitchen, closet, fridge etc. they are simple enough to be fully cleaned by cleaning robots.
The Meritocratic apartments concept was inspired by many great works and people such as the Venus project, Buckminster fuller, the Paris communes, a resource based economy, star trek, the pan African movement, kibbutz, the futurism community etc. and the many people I exchanged ideas and who gave me feedback over the years.
After creating meritocratic apartments, I then focused on creating a system that would allow everyone to obtain their emotional needs.
Community hub
The solution that I came up with for a new system that would allow all of us to obtain our emotional needs was called Community hub.
The Community hub provides the members of the meritocratic society with infrastructure to allow them to live different lives in different communities and obtain their emotional needs in a meritocratic society.
The infrastructure community hubs provide include venues such as houses, schools, shops etc., characters such as family members, friends, strangers, coworkers etc., accessories such as clothes, shoes, weapons etc. and life stories such as action life stories, adventure life stories, dram life stories etc.
So if a member of the meritocratic society wants to live a life as a musician, the community hub will provide them with venues such as concert arenas, music studios etc., characters such as managers, fans, friends etc., accessories such as clothes, shoes, chains etc., life stories such as cocky musician life story, humble musician life story etc.
Through Community hubs a person in a meritocratic society would be able to live as any person such as a celebrity, musician, CEO, detective, thief, jerk etc. and obtain the emotional experience from that life.
The community hub was inspired by many great works and people such as Nietzsche, Jung, Jayne’s, Freud, Wittgenstein, Spengler, Weber, west world etc. and the many people I exchanged ideas and who gave me feedback over the years.
After creating the community hub, I then focused on creating a governing system that would allow everyone to have a chance to maintain and influence their environment through the government.
Meritocratic Government
The solution that I came up with for a new system of government that would allow all of us to influence our environment was called the meritocratic government.
The meritocratic government is a government that follows the principle that every government position should be chosen based on merit.
It consists of institutions, that people become members of, through passing online merit tests.
Merit tests for each institution are created by and can be changed by the members of the institution.
Once someone is a member of an institution they can propose bills online to change regulations or policies of the institution and other members can vote on the bill and if it passes then the bill becomes law.
So members can propose and vote for bills online allowing each member the chance to change the regulations or policies of the institutions of the meritocratic government.
Hence a meritocratic government has no president, ministers or senators and is fully run by members of its institutions.
The meritocratic government was inspired by many government systems such as Capitalism, technocracy, socialism, communism, anarchism and many of the great authors who wrote about such systems.
After creating the meritocratic government, I then focused on creating a new value system that would allow everyone to benefit from obtaining rational knowledge and helping the society.
Merit score system
The solution that I came up with for a new value system that would allow those who put effort to obtain rational knowledge to be rewarded was the merit score system.
The merit score system is a scoring system of a person’s contribution to improving the meritocratic society. It consists of different parts such as a score of how a resident interacts with the infrastructure, a score on how the resident interacts with people, a score on how the resident participates in government, the innovations and creations they have achieved etc.
The merit score is the new money since when someone has a big merit score people vote for their bills in government, people act for free as their characters in the community hub, food and clothes hubs offer their services at a lower price etc.
Money still exists in a meritocratic society but it’s not as powerful since everyone can obtain their basic and emotional needs hence cannot be easily bribed or swayed by it.
The merit score system will allow people who obtain rational knowledge and use it to help humanity to be rewarded and acknowledged.
The merit score system was inspired by the school grading system, the Reddit karma points system, the resource based economy movement and so many other systems which unconsciously influenced me to come up with the system.
After creating the value system for the meritocratic society, I now write intellectual books and fictional books to inspire and teach others about how the meritocratic society would work and build a movement around the new societal model. The links to my intellectual books and fictional books are:
