Hello my name is Mkwawa and I am the creator of MAMA apartments.
I created them to solve the homelessness crisis all around the world. By the homelessness crisis, I don’t only mean the homeless people living in the streets, no, I also mean the people struggling to pay mortgage and are on the brink of eviction every month, the workers who struggle to pay rent and live paycheck to paycheck, the young adults and everyone else who is forced to live with their parents, relatives, friends or partners just because they can’t afford to rent and everyone else who doesn’t have a title deed in their name.
MAMA apartments are apartments designed to outsource house chores allowing anyone to qualify for a loan to buy the house and then pay the loan through paying for house chores services.
They consist of houses connected to a food hub that handles all chores involved with food and a clothes hub that handles all chores involved with clothes.
When someone who lives in MAMA apartments needs food or clothes, they order them from the food or clothes hub and they are brought to them by a pod that passes through small tunnels.
When they finish eating or wearing the food or clothes respectively, they return the dirty dishes or clothes using the pod that passes through a small tunnel to the food or clothes hub where they are cleaned and stored.
MAMA apartments don’t need a kitchen, closet, appliances, store etc. and hence can be designed to be simple enough to be fully cleaned by autonomous robots.
So residents of MAMA apartments pay for the services of the food and clothes hub to obtain their food, clothes and maintain a clean house.
Because of this fact, people can own these houses through taking a MAMA mortgage which is a loan to buy a MAMA apartment, with the only collateral being that you will have to live in the house for certain days in a year, so that you can pay for the hubs services and hence pay the mortgage.
So anyone who currently affords to pay for their food, clothes, cleaning expenses or rent can easily afford to own a MAMA apartment through taking a MAMA mortgage.
This includes all low paid workers, all people living paycheck to paycheck, all people stuck on a mortgage they can’t pay, all people who have to stay with other people just to have a space to live etc.
If you are someone who doesn’t own a house, who knows from experience how much life could have been so much better with a home, who knows how many opportunities such as marriage, relationships, work, education etc. pass people because of having no home, who knows the amount of mental stress that comes with the fear of being homeless etc. you should consider joining the MAMA project.
