I am trying to help you not waste your time, as this article is written for the noble and honorable beings, who are ready to use their lives to help humanity actualize its potential, who are ready to give their time and effort so that every Einstein, Currie or Tesla in the world can contribute and help society.
I hope by now, all people who are reading this article are serious about finding the best way we can actualize our potential as a collective.
The Meritocratic society is a new societal model that, if adopted, can structurally solves most global problems.
This article talks about how, if adopted, the Meritocratic society can structurally allow us to organize society so that everyone can actualize their potential.
After chasing away those who this article isn’t meant for and explaining the intention of the article to my fellow simp’s of human progress, let us now start the article by discussing what lead me to create the Meritocratic society from the perspective of actualizing human potential:
The back story
There are currently more than 7 billion people on earth but the amount of people working on great projects to help push human progress forward are so few.
The reason for this, is that our current societal model forces most of us to spend most of our time and energy trying to obtain our needs such as food, shelter, education, healthcare, starting a family, having friends, being in relationships etc. leaving very little time to focus on great projects that can push human progress forward.
The current societal model also hinders those who decide to leave behind most of their social needs so that they can pursue great projects by making it hard for them to get access to human and financial capital which leads to most of them having to sacrifice all their life just to ensure they are able to complete the great project.
My first solution to this problem, was political change, as most people waste their potential trying to obtain their basic needs which are already enough for all of us but I soon realized that there are many people who can easily obtain their basic needs and still fail to maximize their potential.
I tried to continue on the political change route but I soon figured, even if we gained power today, we really don’t have a new system, to implement, that will help humanity maximize its potential and so I settled on trying to create a new societal model that will structurally help solve all problems people face when trying to maximize their potential.
I worked on the new societal model for more than 10 years and I am now ready to share it with everyone so that we can work together and make the new societal model a reality.
The new societal model I designed is called the meritocratic society.
After understanding why I decided to create the meritocratic society, let us now discuss how it works and how it helps maximize human potential:
Meritocratic society
To understand how the meritocratic society maximizes human potential, we have to discuss how it maximizes human potential as individual meritocratic societies and as a collective of meritocratic societies.
Let us first discuss how individual meritocratic societies are designed to maximize human potential:
Individual meritocratic societies
Individual meritocratic societies are designed to maximize human potential through reducing the time people spend to obtain their needs.
The individual meritocratic societies achieve this through their infrastructure which includes the meritocratic apartments, community hub and the meritocratic government:
Meritocratic apartment
The meritocratic apartment is designed to ensure members of a meritocratic society can obtain their basic needs without using a lot of time and effort through eliminating house chores.
The meritocratic apartment is able to eliminate house chores by connecting houses to a food hub that handles all chores involved with food and a clothes hub that handles all chores involved with clothes.
When someone needs food or clothes, they order them from the food or clothes hub and they are brought to them by a pod that passes through small tunnels.
When they finish eating or wearing the food or clothes respectively, they return the dirty dishes or clothes using the pod that passes through a small tunnel to the food or clothes hub where they are cleaned and stored.
So members of meritocratic society don’t do house chores ensuring they have more free time to try and actualize their potential.
Community hub
The community hub is designed to ensure members of a meritocratic society can express their emotions without using a lot of time and effort through providing them with infrastructure to allow them to live different lives.
The infrastructure community hubs provide include venues such as houses, schools, shops etc., characters such as family members, friends, strangers, coworkers etc., accessories such as clothes, shoes, weapons etc. and life stories such as action life stories, adventure life stories, drama life stories etc.
So if a member of a meritocratic society wants to live a life as a musician, the community hub will provide them with venues such as concert arenas, music studios etc., characters such as managers, fans, friends etc., accessories such as clothes, shoes, chains etc., life stories such as cocky musician life story, humble musician life story etc.
Through Community hub members of a meritocratic society can live as any stereotype such as a celebrity, musician, CEO, detective, thief, jerk etc. and obtain the emotional experience from that life.
So members of a meritocratic society don’t use their main lives to express their harmful emotions ensuring they have less drama in their lives and more free time to actualize their potential.
Local meritocratic government
The local meritocratic government is designed to ensure members of a meritocratic society spend little time and effort to obtain their rational needs such as education, job opportunity, health etc. through using direct democracy to govern the meritocratic society.
The local meritocratic government uses direct democracy by being divided into institutions that members of a meritocratic society can join through passing online merit tests which consist of simple questions that members answer to prove they understand the basics of the institution.
Once they are members of an institution, they can vote on or propose bills online to change regulations or policies of the government.
Hence members of a meritocratic society could pass online merit tests for the food institution which might include questions about the supply chain of the food hub or how the food hub works and propose a bill for the profits of the food hub to be used to purchase certain automation, create a farm etc.
Through the local meritocratic government, members of a meritocratic society can collectively decide on how to use the profits from the hubs to provide them with their rational needs such as education, health, jobs etc.
This will allow them not to have to individually struggle to obtain their rational needs, giving them more free time to actualize their potential.
Conclusion
So residents of meritocratic societies will maximize their potential because they will be able to spend very little time and effort to obtain their basic, emotional and rational needs.
After understanding how individual meritocratic societies are able to maximize human potential, let us now discuss how a collective of meritocratic societies is able to maximize human potential:
Meritocratic societies as a collective
A collective of meritocratic societies is able to maximize human potential through allowing collective organization.
A collective of meritocratic societies achieves this through the federal meritocratic government.
Federal meritocratic government
The federal meritocratic government is the government that governs a collective of meritocratic societies.
Just like the local meritocratic government, the federal meritocratic government consists of institutions that residents of any meritocratic society in the collective can join through passing online merit tests which consist of simple questions that residents answer to prove they understand the basics of the institution.
Once they are members of an institution, they can vote on or propose bills online to change regulations or policies of the federal meritocratic government.
The federal meritocratic government has the potential to have a large amount of human capital as any resident of a meritocratic society can become its member through passing merit tests of its institutions.
The federal meritocratic government also has the potential to have huge financial capital as it can tax institutions of the local meritocratic government of all meritocratic societies in the collective.
Hence depending on the number of meritocratic societies in the collective, the institutions of the federal meritocratic government can have millions of members and collect billions in revenue.
Bills of the federal meritocratic government
Once the number of members in the institutions of the federal meritocratic government and the amount of revenue obtained by the institutions of the federal meritocratic government exceed a certain amount, the members of the institutions of the federal meritocratic government can collectively organize humanity to achieve great goals.
They are able to do this through proposing bills for the members of the institutions to collectively work on a big project for a certain period of time. For example:
They can propose a bill to find a cure for breast cancer in less than 5 years in the cancer sub institution which might have more than 70 million members.
The bill can include the problems that need to be solved, the number of people that need to join the project, say 12,000,000, the different problems and jobs the 12 million will be working on, the objective goals in each stage of the 5 years, the number of people who will need to study and become professionals to be able to work on the problems, the estimated amount of funding needed in the 5 years and how it will be used etc.
The bill will then be voted for by all 70 million members and if it passes then the funding will be provided and 12 million people will apply to work on the project.
To fully grasp the vision of the meritocratic society, you have to realize that bills for great projects will be proposed and worked on in each institution of the federal meritocratic government.
So you might have 14 million members working on a project to create a fusion reactor in the next 7 years in the energy institution, you might have 230 million members working on a project to build a colony in mars in the next 5 years in the transportation institution, you might have 130 million members working on a project to create artificial organs in the health institution etc.
So through the federal meritocratic government, humanity will finally be able to use its collective potential to achieve great goals at an unprecedented rate unlike the current situation where the amount of people and funding used in different projects is so little compared to the potential number of people and funding that could be used in these great projects.
Conclusion
Hence if we succeed in making people all around the world live in meritocratic societies, we will be able to finally unlock the human potential we currently have.
